Locomotion
I’ve paid my dues in
this unfamiliar territory,
but I cannot resist it
I cannot resist you.
Upon my breast
your breath lays heavy
fueling my indulgence
steaming my heart.
Saline stripes
lay tracks on broken capillaries
as my heart races
to meet your own.
Criss-crossing through the night
we transport our hearts of iron.
